Hear from the Founders of the 2023 Cherokee Women Accelerator. These Five Cherokee Women Business Owners were selected from a pool of more than 130 applicants from across the country. They participated in an intensive six week program where we explored growth principles, assessed capital needs, and improved business models to facilitate scale. During the program, we were joined for incredible mentor sessions from successful Entrepreneurs, including Betsy Fore, Co-Founder of Tiny Organics and the first Native woman in history to raise more than $20M to date, and renowned Osage Fashion Designer, Dante Biss-Grayson, Founder of Sky-Eagle Collection. At the end of the program, we wrapped things up with an amazing in-person event at the University of Tulsa. They were able to share lessons learned, resources and share their stories with the community. The program, made possible in large part by The Collins College of Business at the University of Tulsa, as well as The Cherokee Nation who provided a $10,000 non-dilutive grant to each participant also received support from Bank of the West, Google, the Oklahoma City Thunder and VEST Her Ventures.
